Leslie Nielsen was hysterically funny, and he never even cracked a smile. His deadpan delivery in Airplane! and The Naked Gun movies is really quite masterful. I am pretty convinced that the below line, delivered by a lesser actor, would never have become so memorable and quoted.
It is no surprise that this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for Eli, Courtney, Sherlock, and all of our family and friends.
