I don’t know why this popped into my mind this morning, but I was thinking about how the Muppets used to explain the “rules” of going to the movies. I worked in a Loews theater in the summer of 1998, and this clip would run before most of their movies. I loved it – a lot of chains have various ways to inform the audience that they should buy concessions in the lobby, not smoke, and be quiet during the movie, but most of them are outdated, boring, or just plain dumb. This one is actually clever, funny, and dare I say, pretty catchy!

Great stuff! I liked the look on Bert’s face 1:00 in, realizing Big Bird was going to be sitting right in front of him.
