Station!
Keanu Reeves is talking about a third Bill and Ted movie. No, seriously.
On the one hand, I am pretty against unnecessary sequels and remakes, and the end of Bogus Journey did do a pretty thorough job of mapping out the future of Wyld Stallyns. And a B&T flick without Rufus would be a real shame.
On the flipside, Bogus Journey was exponentially better than Excellent Adventure, so if a third film could continue that trend… hey.
It certainly doesn’t seem like a third movie would happen right away, and Keanu definitely has a sense of humor about the project as he suggests Werner Herzog as a possible director. (If Herzog did a voice-over, people might get confused and think it was Death talking…)

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackNo Rufus, though….Hmmmm.
RIP, George Carlin.
Good news though – according to Alex Winter (a.k.a. Bill S. Preston), the role of Rufus will definitely not be recast.
