Last night, we got to talking about what the next Noah family car would be. Courtney wants us to get something big for packing all of our family-related gear, like a Honda CRV. My mom and sister suggested the RAV4, which they both have. I figured if we were going to go in that direction, we might as well get a wood-paneled station wagon. I’m fine with that – a family man should drive a family car, after all. But in terms of sheer practicality, I think this is our best bet:
That’s right – an Ewok driving a DeLorean.
Now sure, the backseat is a little cramped, and we don’t have a ton of trunk space. But for me, the pros vastly outweigh the cons.
Because think about it – with your own private Ewok chauffeur, we’d never have to worry about driving again. If Eli gets fussy, we can climb into the backseat and calm him down, while the Ewok worries about traffic. And everyone knows that Ewoks have an excellent sense of direction and are great drivers – even if they tend to need a little while to get the hang of Imperial speeder bikes.
Not to mention the fact that a DeLorean, if equipped with a flux capacitor, would effectively prevent us from ever being late again. If it takes us a while to drag Sherlock from the backyard and into the car, at least we’ll still be able to show up on time by traveling back to the exact point in time we were supposed to arrive!
Bottom line: It’s the perfect family car!
