Just a few very fast thoughts on last night’s Lost episode:

How messed up is it for that woman to not call Claire before she flies halfway around the world while very, very pregnant? If that lady is always so thoughtless, it’s no wonder her husband left her. (Yeah, I went there!)

In Alternate 2004, Ethan is still a doctor, but now he has kept his family name, and now he *doesn’t* like sticking pregnant women with unnecessary needles.

The Temple is an interesting set piece, but more needs to start happening there, quick. And if one more person promises to answer all of our questions, and then doesn’t, either by speaking in vague answers or because the person who has a lot of questions just doesn’t ask them, I’m going to lose it.

So Sayid is infected/claimed, by the same thing that infected/claimed Claire. Interesting. Is this the same “sickness” that got to Rousseau’s team? Rousseau herself? And did a variation of this happen to Ben when he was saved by the Others? Richard said that if the healing process worked, Ben would never be the same. But presumably if Ben had failed the test as Sayid did, they wouldn’t have made Ben their leader, right? So if the process doesn’t work, you go crazy and need to be killed. Again. And if it does work, you go from being a sweet kid that sorta looks like Harry Potter to a homicidal pathological liar? Some Fountain of Life!

And poison only works on people if they take it willingly? Say what?
