I already posted this on Facebook, but seeing as how it got such a strong reaction there, I decided it was worth re-posting here. (And yes, I of course included the shot in my “Brushes With Greatness” pictures page.) The long story short is that I interviewed Mr. Jeremy for my show, and he was [...]

It had already been announced that Sunday, May 23rd will be the air date of the Lost series finale, with a 2 hour episode from 9 to 11pm (with the obligatory recap show beforehand). Obviously, this is a hugely important and monumental event in the history of television. But now comes word that ON THAT [...]

I kind of feel like there wasn’t a ton to digest in last night’s episode of Lost – it seemed to function more in the set-up role for what’s to come. A few fast observations: Claire referred to her father and her friend – to me, this implies that Smokey and Christian are different people. [...]

So over the past few weeks, while Eli has been napping, Courtney and I have gotten to catch up on a few movies. Here are a few of my thoughts on these flicks: Zombieland: Really well done and funny zombie movie. Jesse Eisenberg always seems to be doing a Michael Cera impression, but it works [...]

Great news! The 2010 Mets will be correcting at least one mistake of the 2009 season – they’re reinstating the Six Pack! For years, me and various pals had bought the Six (and later Seven) Packs as ways to get together a few times over the summer, see a handful of games each season (usually [...]

Just before Eli was born, our computer broke. Which was crappy timing, because once we brought the little guy home, we wanted to store and organize all of our new baby pictures and videos and such. The computer that died on us was a Sony Vaio that I had bought back in early 2004. Now [...]

Great Lost last night – a few fast thoughts: Locke wouldn’t have recognized Hurley from Flight 815? Sure, you don’t immediately memorize the face of everyone on every plane ride you ever take, so the fact that he doesn’t recognize Rose doesn’t bother me. But the big huge dude with the crazy muttonchops might make [...]

…and Eli’s original due date! It’s funny to think that Eli wasn’t even supposed to be here just yet, and instead he’s been around for a whole month. Anyway enjoy the three day weekend, and if you are in need of a last minute gift, may I humbly suggest these amazing creations – Wiimotes made [...]

Amazing superhero movie news: Director Christopher Nolan, the guy who directed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, is set to “mentor” a new Superman film, while working on the next Batman movie! Nolan is extremely well respected in Hollywood, as well as beloved by nerds and fanboys, so this is pretty much win-win all around. [...]

Just a few very fast thoughts on last night’s Lost episode: How messed up is it for that woman to not call Claire before she flies halfway around the world while very, very pregnant? If that lady is always so thoughtless, it’s no wonder her husband left her. (Yeah, I went there!) In Alternate 2004, [...]
