It was a fun, long weekend, full of Hanukkah cheer! On Friday night, we went to the Neuman’s place in Brooklyn for latkes and goodies, and we ended up staying out way past our bedtime. Then Saturday was full of painting Baby’s room and getting the house ready for the 2nd Annual Noah Cookie Swap. We had a great turnout; there was Atari and air hockey in the man-cave, New Super Mario Bros. Wii in the family room, and an over abundance of cookies in the dining and living rooms. Thanks to everyone who came by and brought cookies. (And for everyone who left an obscene amount of cookies behind!)
Sunday morning also began with some early painting, followed by a Baby Safety seminar that quickly devolved into a sales pitch. Then we were back to entertaining that evening, with the family coming by for presents, donuts, latkes and Grandma’s meatballs. I’m exhausted, but it was a lot of fun.
Happy Hanukkah, everybody!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThat Baby Safety thing like the company Homer started where they just bubble wrap the whole house? Elana will likely become mobile in the next month. I think we’re just ignoring the problem and hoping that it will solve itself for the moment :s Maybe we just need to relocate everything to the ceiling…
I had a great time last night!
