It’s official, the Wii will be selling for $199.99 starting this Sunday.

But who cares about that?  (Doesn’t everyone already have at least one Wii?)  The news I’m excited about is that New Super Mario Bros. Wii has an official release date – November 15th!  I’ve been giddy about this game since it was first announced; the DS game was absolutely amazing, so to continue in that tradition – and add simultaneous multiplayer – AND add a new Penguin suit.  AND feature the return of the Koopa Kids!!!  Remember them from SMB3 and SMW???

To be honest, I haven’t spent much time on my Wii as of late.  I never finished Wario Land: Shake It! on account of the move, and I got sorta bored by Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.  (I didn’t like playing as a bad guy and killing Jedi; I kept wanting them to kill me, which really didn’t help my game.)  I still want to get my hands on the Ghostbusters game, but I do plan on picking up NSMBWii pretty damn fast.  Midnight launch, anyone?  (OK, James?)
