When the missus and I left Queens, we said goodbye not only to Time Warner cable in general, but also our DVR box, with all of our TV shows in it. So I made a list of all of our shows so we could transfer them to our new Optimum box on Long Island.
Here now is, in it’s entirety, our complete list of recorded shows.

- Code Monkeys (a G4 cartoon that I usually put on in the background while I did other stuff)
- Swingtown (Canceled, which is sort of a shame)

- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Canceled, but I’m OK with it)
- Heroes (Will it make it onto my DVR list this season after repeated letdowns?)
- Eli Stone (Canceled, and it will be missed)

- The Girls Next Door (Will it make it onto my DVR list this season now that Bridget, Holly, and Kendra are gone?)

So that’s roughly thirty shows that need to be added to our new box, and that’s not including any new shows we decide to watch. Wow, maybe we didn’t need such a big yard after all.

DEFINITELY too much TV!! I would think that a young couple such as yourselves would think of a few other ways to spend your leisure time. (Of course I’m referring to stripping your wallpaper – did you think I meant something else?)

Then again, your “alternate ideas” are precisely why I don’t regularly watch “Brink”.
I can’t believe you have Two and a Half Men but you don’t have either How I Met Your Mother or The Big Bang Theory! Shame on you!
We’re just getting into HIMYM now on DVD, so that will likely be added to the list.
