Finally, Sherlock has a big fenced in yard to run around in, and he absolutely loves it! Now he can sprint around at full speed, bark at squirrels, chase the birds away – everything a good hound dog should do. And now he can do it while not on a leash, or at a dog park surrounded by other dogs that he really couldn’t care less about.
If you have a strong stomach, check out this shaky-cam video of Sherlock’s very first trip into his new territory.

The quality of this video is very reminiscent of the ones you took during your childhood!! I think you need a tripod! But seriously, Sherlock sure loves his new yard!
im exhausted just watching maybe if he gets real tired he will not chase the cat.
I hope that you guys are cleaning up Sherlock’s “# 2’s” and properly disposing of them (and that doesn’t mean tossing them over the fence into your neighbor’s yard after dark!) If not, the back yard will quickly morph into a Sherlock minefield.
Looks like Spanky–oh Sherlock is having a great time. Looks like I have to try and get Rod moving to fence in our yard for Buster.
…..Aw! I miss my friend Sherlock!
Wait… aren’t you a PRODUCER? On TELEVISION?
Wow- what a great yard! I can’t wait to see the place
