As much as it pretty much destroys me to admit, I have to agree with you. "Zach & Miri" had such potential for awesomeness that the letdown was rather substantial.

Smith has always been a personal favorite (especially "Mallrats". Still love it and rate it as one of the most quotable flicks of the 90's). It felt as if something was wrong, and no pun intended (ok, maybe a little...)I cannot put my finger on it. The dialogues were witty enough, the performances were decent, but the movie as a whole was just rather "eh".

An aside: Jason Mewes looked every part the heroin addict that he is in reality. That just made me sad.

And while I'm at it, another aside: Rogen's last two movies were disappointing. "Pineapple Express" was another flick that was more less boring to anyone who had seen a commercial or preview prior to watching the movie. Get it together, Seth. Get it together.
