Many thanks to everyone who posted, emailed, and called to wish me a happy birthday and/or me and wifey a happy first anniversary. Great times were had upstate: we made a few trips to Ithaca Bakery/Collegetown Bagels, who we still love even though they screwed up our order – twicer, we stocked up on local beer and store brand goodies at Wegman’s, and we drank an obscene amount of hard cider and Finger Lakes wine.  Oh, and we stopped by Cooperstown, too.  I’ll try to post some pictures soon.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, Ithaca was WAY cooler the first weekend of October this year, as opposed to the heatwave they had last year.

And speaking of “one year later” – our wedding cake stayed pretty darn well for a year, and after watching the wedding video for the first time, I would like to belatedly apologize to anyone who had to face this groomzilla’s wrath.  Sorry!
