Guys, how many times has this happened to you? Your wife or your girlfriend decides to fulfill your geekiest fantasy by dressing up as Princess Leia in her slave-girl outfit from Return of the Jedi. At first, you’re all excited, but that giddyness soon fades, when you notice that her outfit is ALL WRONG. That’s the best color you could find? What happened to the skirt thing? And hey, no choker? What gives?

Well, those days are long gone, now that starwarsshop.com, your one-stop shop for all the officially licensed Star Wars products you didn’t even know you needed (like my old Darth Vader iPod case, or my kick-ass Vader mug), has come out with it’s very own totally official and approved by George Lucas himself (probably not) Slave Leia outfit.

Check it out here.

I love the description of the outfit that they give:

From Rubies Costumes “Secret Wishes” line, this sexy Slave Leia costume is perfect for Halloween parties or other special occasions. Includes top, briefs with skirt, belt, choker and headpiece. Available in sizes XS-M.

Yeah, we all know what they mean by “special occasions,” don’t we?

And it’s great that everything is included, and that they didn’t bother making any larger sizes available, because the mere mention of this outfit in an XXL would kind of kill the whole thing.

I say kudos to starwarsshop.com for finally taking charge and delivering this product directly to the fans, who will no longer have to deal with unofficial imitations and well-intentioned homemade outfits that just aren’t quite right. And for $54.99, how can you go wrong?

I can’t wait to see how else they fill out this “Sexy Time at Jabba’s” line, which seems like a given after this costume will inevitably sell out in 14 seconds. Maybe they’ll make a king size silk sheet set with a pattern of Han frozen in carbonite. Or perhaps they’ll sell an inflatable Oola. Or maybe they’ll go all out and design a Salacious Crumb “massager.”
