For a little break from my usual nerdy ramblings, here are some fun videos I have stumbled across and provided here for your viewing enjoyment.  All are totally safe for work, and they proceed to get geekier as you go.

First is this clip from The Soup that is way more hilarious than it should be. (If you’ve heard people talking about “Spaghetti Cat,” this is it…)

Apparently, the picture was done intentionally, as a new kind of “bleep.” (Click here for the story.) Why they wouldn’t just go with one of these is quite beyond me…

Next there’s this trailer for The Dark Knight, only this version is a little more family-friendly.

Nothing against Ledger and Bale, but I’d pay to see that version, too.

And finally, there’s this amazing video of the Empire invading San Francisco. (Warning: Geek factor is pretty high on this one.)

This is so damn cool; I really love the Cloverfield, matter-of-factness feel to the whole thing. I only hope they do another one with the Rebels coming to visit New York City.
