We live in America, and voting is important.
So don’t take your constitutional right for granted. Step up and make your voice heard!
Vote for VH1’s 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs!
Vote early, and vote often. (For the show, not for the upcoming Presidential election. That’s more of a one-vote-per-citizen sort of thing.)
This is the show I’ve been working on since April, and as such, all friends and family will be required to watch it when it airs.
And by voting, YOU get to control which songs you will see in the countdown, and in what order! Don’t complain about how such and such song didn’t make the list or got a bad ranking later on - save yourself the trouble and vote now. You have the power. You have the voice. Now go and do your patriotic American duty, and vote.

WINGER’S ON THE LIST???????????????
I think that kind of invalidates that whole list…
It’s funny you say that - we just edited the Winger segment yesterday. It’s good, I swear!
Why does it invalidate the list? Just because their lead singer appeared in Playgirl? It was a non-nude spread!
First of all, I did not know that Kip Sucker was in Playgirl - I think he sucks even more now. But it is more that the band as a whole, musically, visually and artistically, well… REALLY REALLY SUCKED. They were bad. Really bad. Awful. Now I understand that some girls may think that “They rock!”. Well, they don’t. But there is no accounting for taste - some people don’t have any. And it frosts my weenie to think that they will be on the list alongside Alice or AC/DC or Zeppelin etc.
On second thought, I hope they win. I think I’m going to vote for them about 10,000 times. That would be great - “And now, the number one greatest hard rock song of all time - WINGER’S Seventeen!!!!”
That would be hysterical…
A lot of critics have pointed out that Winger’s musicianship was pretty impressive for the hair-metal genre. Kip and a few of the other guys in the band actually played with Alice Cooper.
Just saying, is all…
