This crappy economy has taken another innocent victim: Bennigan’s restaurants.

The chain has filed for bankruptcy, and their fine eating establishments are being shut down all across the country.  I guess when people can’t afford to pay their mortgages or fill up their gas tanks, dinners at Bennigan’s just don’t seem like much of a priority.

Sure, the more affluent among us will still be able to eat at their local TGI Friday’s, Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday’s, or even a Houlihan’s if they can find one.  But what on earth will Butters’ parents do on their anniversary?
