The comments posted after last week’s Lost review raised an interesting point about the direction that the show is taking; is it still a character driven show about a group of people who were simply lost in their lives, or has it evolved into a show about the Island, time travel, and gun battles? It is my sincere hope that the show won’t give up it’s heart (i.e. the stories revolving around our Losties) just because it also explores a larger mythology. “Something Nice Back Home” proved that the show can have mystery and intrigue while keeping true to its main characters.

Here’s an excerpt from my “Something Nice Back Home” Review:

It seems that since Kate’s trial, Jack got over whatever was bugging him about being around Aaron. We don’t get answers as to what kept him away or what brought him to them, but it seems likely that it has to do with the fact that he knows that he is Aaron’s uncle. The way Jack sneers at Kate that she isn’t even related to Aaron further indicates that he knows that he is related to the little bugger.
